Kick4Life are looking for a winning start under new coach Leslie Notsii against Likhopo when the two clubs face off in the Vodacom Premier League on Sunday afternoon at Old Europa.

The world’s first club dedicated to social change is now under the new the guidance of former Lesotho’s national team coach who was unveiled at the Kick4Life Centre on Monday 23rd November.

Kick4Life lock horns with their Maseru counterparts while the morale is still high in their camp after bouncing back from their 3-0 loss to Mphatlatsane to hold the reigning champions Lioli to a goalless draw, and will be looking to maintain their solid performance when they welcome Likhopo.

Speaking ahead of the game, captain Keketso Mokhele said they will fight with everything they have to ensure that they collect maximum points against Likhopo. “The draw against Lioli was a motivation to us and we are going to keep soldiering on Sunday when we face Likhopo", he said.

Mokhele went on to say everyone in the team is working hard looking forward to finishing their last two games of the first half of the season on a high note because that will keep them in a good position in the log.

Looking at the statistics of the two teams last season, Likhopo won one of their two meetings and drew once. In one match, Morapeli Lesoetsa came on as a substitute to cancel Nthejane’s lead to force the game into a 2-2 draw.

Likhopo’s hopes of ending the first leg of the premier league on top were put to bed when they suffered their second defeat in a row at the hands of Butha-Buthe based Sandawana, giving Matlama an opportunity to open the gap wide after beating Liphakoe.

They are now in the fourth position after collecting seventeen points, won five games, drew two and lost twice. However they still have two games in hand and will be looking for a quick come back when they face K4L.

Red devils have amongst their squad, the experienced Bokang “Lefty” Mothoana who has been with the team since the days of the late Bishop Molatoli, and will be using his experience to guide his team to victory. Their star man Lehlomela Ramabele who is leading the scoring charts with 8 goals will also be looking to increase his goals, and can pose a real danger to K4L.
